What You Actually Receive
A research order from our niche keyword research service produces three things.
1. A prioritised query list. Every query we recommend targeting, ranked by proximity to revenue rather than volume. Each row carries an intent label, a note on what currently ranks, and the reason we think the gap is real.
2. A content brief per recommended page. This is the deliverable that matters. Each brief contains the target query, the secondary variations it should satisfy, the angle, the recommended heading structure, the entities and subtopics to cover, and the internal links in and out.
3. A cluster map. For multi-page orders, a diagram showing which page is the hub, which are the support pages, and how they link together.

The Timeline
| Order type | Turnaround | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Single-article research | With your article brief | The $45 add-on on any writing order |
| Single service cluster | 3 – 5 business days | Typically 8 to 15 recommended pages |
| Multi-service or multi-location | Quoted after scoping | Depends on service count and area count |
Research is deliberately not rushed. The whitespace analysis step, where we read what actually ranks for each candidate query, is the part that separates a useful list from an export, and it takes the time it takes.
What We Need From You
Three inputs, and the first one carries most of the weight.
- Your buyer questions. The things your team answers on the phone each week, in the customer’s own words. Twenty of these is plenty.
- Your service and area list. What you actually deliver and where you genuinely deliver it.
- Access to Google Search Console, if you have it. Existing impression data at positions 8 to 30 frequently reveals the fastest available wins.
If you do not have the first one written down, a 20-minute call with whoever quotes jobs produces it.
Realistic Ranking Expectations
We will not promise positions, and you should be cautious of anyone who does. Here is what we actually see.
- Low-competition and geo-modified queries: movement within three to eight weeks of publishing, often into the top three.
- Commercial investigation queries in moderate niches: two to four months, and usually dependent on the surrounding cluster being complete.
- Anything approaching a head term: not from a single page, and not this quarter.
The honest caveat
Individual niche pages attract small visit numbers. Judge them on enquiries, not sessions. A page with 40 monthly visits and two enquiries is doing its job.
That trade-off is the whole argument for the approach, and why zero-volume keywords still drive qualified conversions sets out the conversion maths behind it.
How Research Stacks With Writing
Research is an add-on, not a separate engagement. The brief drops straight into any writing tier:
- Pair it with the AI tier for cheap breadth across a cluster
- Pair it with the hybrid tier for the pages prospects will actually read
- Pair it with the 100% human tier for the flagship page the cluster points at
You keep the research either way, including the briefs for pages you decide not to commission. If you would rather test the whole process first, order one article with research attached and judge both halves together.
